A new concept of Early Clinical Exposure was initiated by NMC to sensitize our first year MBBS students towards, the diseases and their treatment & prevention. Department of Physiology under the dynamic guidance of Dr. Kiran Singh Professor & Head, Subharti Medical College has implemented the CBME as well as the concept of ECE very religiously. To assess how much our 1st year have learnt from ECEs, a poster competition on the theme “Early Clinical Exposures – A recent trend in teaching and learning in physiology” was organized on 2nd November 2021. The judges were Dr. Preeti Rathi, Professor, Department of Physiology, LLRM Medical College, Meerut, Dr. Pawan Parashar, Professor Department of Community Medicine SMC, Meerut & Dr. Anuradha Davey, Professor, Department of Community Medicine, SMC, Meerut. Total seven teams participated and were awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize. To encourage the students a consolation prize was also given. The event was graced by the faculty members from various departments. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ruchi Tyagi, Dr. Archana Agarwal, Dr. Ashita Nain, Dr. Sonal Singh, Dr. Manvi Sharma, Dr. Ankur Sachdeve, Ms. Taniya & Ms. Sonam Negi. The event was followed by high tea and group photography.
