No endeavor can be accomplished without the valuable contribution of the stakeholders involved, its success is entirely dependent on the teams working behind the scene, and similarly no treatment protocols can be perfect without skilled professionals like Paramedics. The technical expertise with theoretical knowledge is making Paramedics indispensable for any healthcare facility. Our success, over many years, has been the result of the quality of our teaching, support staff and excellent infrastructure. We are sure that the students will find the Department extremely beneficial for enhancing their professional skill and rising on the ladder of career advancement. Therefore, the main aim of our Department is to train the students in such a way that they apply their knowledge and skill in diagnostic as well therapeutic medicine.
The Department of Paramedical Sciences, a constituent department of Subharti Medical College, Meerut is well with all facilities required for teaching, training, learning & laboratory activities. At present, it is headed by Dr. Pankaj Kishor Mishra Ph. D in Biochemistry. He possesses vast experience of research and teaching. The other faculty members, highly qualified and experienced, are employed on a full time basis.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital. the teaching hospital of Subharti Medical College, is accredited by NABH, has many super specialty departments. It is equipped with over 1000 beds, 24 Operating Suites, state of art 7 ICUs and modern Accident & Emergency Service Department. The Central Laboratory, accredited by NABL has advanced equipments & machines and provides excellent opportunities to students of Paramedical stream for training. The Department offers postgraduate programs in Medical Laboratory and Radio-diagnosis and Imaging Technologies, The undergraduate programs in the technology of Medical Laboratory, Radio-diagnosis & Imaging, Operation Theatre, Operation Theatre (Honors Anesthesiology) and in Optometry form the premium group of programs much sought after. Besides PG and UG programs, Diploma programs in MLT, X-Ray, Optometry and Operation Theatre are also being conducted. Many of the students have got placement in Government, corporate and private hospitals besides diagnostic and clinical laboratories within India and abroad.

• The Radio-diagnosis and Imaging Department is well staffed and equipped with modern equipment like DSA, MRI, CT-Scan, Mammography Machine, USG, CR and PACs system.
