Dr. Pradeep Bharti Gupta is a performance driven and a very sincere empathetic professional with an extensive experience of nearly 35 years in the field of Neuro Surgery. He is first Neurosurgeon of Western UP and is “Father of Neurosurgery in Western UP and Uttrakhand”. He is an alumnus of the prestigious King George’s Medical College Lucknow from where he passed his MBBS in 1977, MS Orthopedics in 1981 & M.Ch. Neurosurgery in 1985. He has served in the LLRM Medical College, Meerut for nearly 35 years rising to the rank of Professor of Neuro Surgery .He gained extensive experience in managing the Medical Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Paramedical Courses of the Medical Education, while working at different designations as a Professor, a Principal and the Dean Faculty of Medicine of CCS University Meerut. During his tenure at LLRM Medical College Meerut he conceptualized, designed and started the Super Specialty Hospital there with eight super specialties under PMSSY scheme of the Central Govt. He has been a Member of the erstwhile MCI Delhi, being nominated by the CCS University Meerut as its representative in MCI wherein he was given additional responsibility of the Chairman of the Registration and Equivalence Committee of MCI Delhi for foreign medical graduates and post graduates in India.

He has been the Founder Principal of Government Doon Medical College Dehra Dun Uttrakhand which is now a prestigious upcoming medical college of Uttrakhand State. He has also been the Founder Principal of Government Medical College Haridwar Uttrakhand which is a joint venture of Government of India and Uttrakhand Government under the PMSSY scheme. He has held additional administrative posts as the Principal cum Superintendent-in-Chief of LLRM Medical College Meerut and the Doon Medical College Dehra Dun

He is a Life Member of various professional bodies like the Neurological Society of India, Association of Orthopedic Surgeon of India etc. He has been on the Editorial Board of several Medical Journals and has been the Thesis Guide and Co-guide of many students for MS Surgery, MS Orthopedic Surgery MD Medicine and MD Radio diagnosis. He is also the Founder and Member of the UP- UK Neurosciences Society.
