The Post graduate department of Subharti Medical College, Meerut has three recognized post graduate seats per year. The department has 2 OPDs with separate cubicles for examining patients along with an immunization clinic with all possible vaccines and emergency equipments to cater for all vaccination requirements. A child psychologist is also available on all working days of the week. All specialty clinics are functional with special emphasis on Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation clinics.
Pediatrics and neonatal intensive care units have monitors, ventilators and other equipments necessary for critical care and resuscitation and a dedicated nursing staff. Nursery ward and pediatrics wards cater to the more stable newborn and older children supporting all their requirement.
An Experienced and dynamic faculty helps to run to the department; including a Neonatologist and Developmental Pediatrician.
There is a very well equipped library with all the latest editions of books and journals along with a seminar room with latest teaching gadgets.
Undergraduate teaching starts form the 4th semester comprising of lectures, clinics and demonstrations. Post graduate teaching includes seminars, case presentations, and journal club and group discussions.
New research work is continuously ongoing in the Department leading to original research publication in National and International Journals.
