Anesthesiologists are the silent force behind the scenes. Their spectrum of action includes general emergencies, trauma, intensive care, acute and chronic pain management. They are the backbone of each hospital. To ensure their skills and efficiencies are at highest level, the Department of Anaesthesia of Subharti Medical College keep on organizing CMEs and conferences. Continuing with the series, the Department of Anaesthesia organized a CME on 8th September 2021 at Subharti Medical College, SVSU, Meerut. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. (Brig) V. P. Singh, Vice Chancellor SVSU and Dr. A. K. Srivastava, Principal, SMC. Technical advancements and new guidelines for treatments were discussed. Dr. Deepak Tempe Prof. & Ex Director Dept of Anaesthesia, S. G. P. Pant Hospital and winner of B. C. Roy award told about the techniques to write high quality research papers. The organizing chairman Dr. Bhawana Rastogi thanked everyone for their contribution Dr. Salony Agarwal was the organizing secretary. The conference was attended by Dr. Vipin Dhama Prof. LLRM and by various faculty members and Heads of Departments. The conference was followed by high tea.
