An alumnus of LLRM Medical College Meerut passed MBBS in 1992 and MD Community Medicine  in 1996. He has teaching experience of more than 20 years in Subharti Medical College, Meerut. Specialized in Community Medicine. He had also done additional courses in Basic Course in Biomedical Research, Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management, Certificate Course in Management of  Thyroid Disorders. Dr. Pawan has hold various administrative and academic posts in various committees of SVSU & has been the Nodal Officer for Covid-19 Vaccination drive in SVSU during Covid 19 pandemic. He is overall all incharge of RHTC/UHTC Centres. He has a strong academic career which reflects in his publications. He has published more than 50 research articles and supervised research work as guide / co-guide  in more than 10 thesis projects of MD/PhD students. He is a Life member of Indian Journal of Community Medicine, Indian Journal of Preventive and Social Medicine, Indian Journal of Public Health, Indian Medical Association and Life member of Association for Prevention & Control of Rabies in India.
