Teaching

The department imparts both undergraduate and post graduate teaching. Department is headed by Professor (Dr.) Mamta Tyagi. She has 25 years of teaching experience and more than 60 publications in renowned International and National journals. A team of young, experienced, clinically sharp, research oriented faculty members ably contribute to undergraduate and post graduate training. The teaching is through two way learning programme, tutorials, clinical postings, seminars and practical training with optimum involvement of participants. Postgraduate students in addition have to carry out a thesis project and have collaborative training with the anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiology and paediatric departments making it a multidisciplinary approach. Curriculum of post graduate students involves skill development via laparoscopic endotrainer and obstetrical emergencies drills.
