Out Patients Department:

The components of outpatient department include

General OPD

The department of ENT has facilities for two OPD run simultaneously. There is a provision for a separate male and female OPD. A vast number and variety of patients come for consultation.

Speciality OPD

The schedule for speciality clinic is as follows -:

a) Monday – vertigo clinicso
b) Wednesday - Rhinology Clinicso
c)Thursday – otology clinics

Minor OT – is for minor procedures like dressing, tracheostomy care, stich removal, split ear repair, syringing, aural suction and examination under microscope.

Audio Vestibular and Speech Therapy Unit

The components of audiovestibular and speech therapy unit includes

a) Pure Tone Audiometry - We are having a sound proof room and an advanced digital audiometer(Alps international-AD2100)

b) Impedance Aud iometer- AT-235(ALPS International)

c) B.E.R.A with Electocochleography (Recorders & Medicare Systems)

d) Facial Nerve Study (Recorders & medicare Systems)

e) E.N.G –We are having four channel E.N.G(Recorders & Medicare Systems)

f) Speech Therapy Room -is equipped with Speech trainer(Alps international)and others facilities for speech therapy

g) Temporal bone dissection lab –is equipped with Speech trainer(Alps international)and others facilities for speech therapy

Inpatient Department :

A total 30 beds well equipped nursing staff with separate room for residents and senior resident. Dedicated Procedure room for minor OT procedures.

OPERATION THEATRE:

state of art operation theatre with latest instruments of Otolarynngology. OT operates 6 days a week.

• MUSEUM – Fwet mount sections of various structures including head and neck tumors are kept for graduate and post graduate students

Seminar Room -

Well equipped with Over head projector,computer,LCD and other audiovisual aids.

Camps -

regular camps are organised by the department in periphery of Meerut to identify and make people aware of ENT problems. Common places are Multan Nagar, Khajuri etc.
